Primary care physician Alexandria Alvarez, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Primary Care. Dr. Alvarez specializes in lifestyle medicine, preventative health, and longevity care.

She received her medical degree from Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.

Jack Ziffer, Ph.D., M.D., executive vice president, chief clinical officer and chief physician executive at Baptist Health, stated: “We are pleased to welcome Dr. Alvarez to our highly skilled team of medical professionals, dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our patients.”

Dr. Alvarez described her approach to patient care as holistic and focused on lifestyle medicine for disease prevention and management. “I focus on preventative care and promoting healthy behaviors like a nutritional diet, physical activity, sleep and stress management to help my patients live longer and healthier lives,” she said.

Dr. Alvarez is fluent in English and Spanish. She will be seeing patients at Baptist Health Primary Care | Kendall (Galloway), located at 7400 SW 87 Avenue, Suite 260, Miami FL, 33173.
