Amelia Island will host its annual Restaurant Week from January 16 to 25, highlighting the local dining scene and encouraging support for small businesses. The event, organized by the Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), features 24 locally owned restaurants offering signature dishes that reflect their unique culinary styles.
Gil Langley, President and CEO of the Amelia Island CVB, stated, “Every year, Restaurant Week gives us another chance to lift up the chefs, owners, and family-run establishments that are the heart of Amelia Island. These restaurants aren’t just places to eat; they’re cornerstones of our community’s identity. Supporting them strengthens Amelia Island as a whole, and we’re proud to champion the small businesses that drive our culinary reputation.”
This year’s Restaurant Week puts special emphasis on each restaurant’s “claim to fame,” with participating venues showcasing their most popular or distinctive menu items. The event aims to increase reservations and attract visitors during a period when business is typically slower.
The program includes two major culinary events: an opening dinner titled “New Traditions” at Nonna Mia at Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa on January 15, which will feature family-style Italian dishes inspired by coastal European flavors; and a closing dinner called “A Taste of Every Table” at Salt at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island on January 25. At this event, four chefs de cuisine from The Ritz-Carlton’s restaurants will present personal favorites in a tasting format.
