Family medicine physician Ana V. Sosa-Sanchez, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Primary Care and will provide healthcare services to adult patients at the Downtown Doral location in Miami. Dr. Sosa-Sanchez treats a variety of health conditions, including both acute illnesses and chronic diseases, with clinical interests that include preventative medicine, women’s health, and community health.

Jack Ziffer, Ph.D., M.D., executive vice president, chief clinical officer and chief physician executive at Baptist Health, stated: “We are pleased to welcome Dr. Sosa-Sanchez to our highly skilled team of medical professionals, dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our patients.”

Dr. Sosa-Sanchez received her medical degree from Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at Baptist Health West Kendall Baptist Hospital in Miami, where she served as wellness chief.

In discussing her approach to patient care, Dr. Sosa-Sanchez said: “My goal is to build trust and work with my patients to develop care plans that fit their unique needs and lifestyles.” She emphasizes building strong relationships with patients to ensure continuity of care and create an environment where patients feel comfortable.

Dr. Sosa-Sanchez is fluent in English and Spanish.
