Baptist Health South Florida has been named to the 2025 Fortune Best Workplaces for Women list, according to an announcement from Great Place To Work and Fortune magazine. The organization ranked No. 70 among 100 large companies recognized nationwide. Baptist Health is the highest-ranked healthcare system in Florida and fourth among healthcare systems in the country on this year’s list.

The ranking is based on survey responses from nearly 605,000 women working at companies certified by Great Place To Work. The selection process evaluates organizations on their ability to provide positive workplace experiences for women across various roles and backgrounds.

Adriene McCoy, Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer of Baptist Health South Florida, said, “We celebrate our dedicated employees who serve others every day and we are committed to supporting their personal and professional growth. Our people make the difference, and it is an honor to be recognized for our strong workplace culture of caring that empowers all employees to strive for excellence.”

Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work, commented on the significance of the recognition: “Congratulations to the Fortune Best Workplaces for Women. These companies show that when women thrive in the workplace, everybody else does too. That’s what it means to be a For All company, where the expectation is that every employee can have a great experience and reach their full potential.”

In addition to this latest recognition, Baptist Health South Florida was included on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list for the 25th time this year, ranking No. 70 as the only healthcare system in Florida to make that list. The organization was also named one of America’s Most Innovative Companies by Fortune and Statista for three consecutive years and secured the No. 3 spot among large companies on Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Health Care list.

Baptist Health South Florida operates 12 hospitals with more than 28,000 employees across Miami-Dade, Monroe, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. It offers specialized care through several renowned institutes and includes Baptist Health Medical Group and other affiliated entities.

Great Place To Work develops its rankings using data collected from its Trust Index Survey completed by employees at eligible organizations. Companies must meet certain criteria regarding female representation in management roles to qualify.
