Another mixed-use development has received approval in Boca Raton’s Park at Broken Sound. On Tuesday, the Boca Raton City Council unanimously passed two ordinances and three resolutions permitting Meyers Accesso to move forward with a 290,000-square-foot apartment project at 6111 Northwest Broken Sound Parkway, adjacent to the Atrium at Broken Sound office building.

The approved plan includes 222 residential units, approximately 2,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, a rooftop pool deck, 23 affordable housing units, and 12 workforce apartments. The developers are also required to build a 2,000-square-foot dog park on site. “The developers will also be required to build a 2,000-square-foot dog park on site,” said Jim Bell, a Boca Raton project manager.

Meyers Accesso is a joint venture between Aventura-based Meyers Group—currently led by CEO Alan Losada—and Hallandale Beach-based Accesso Partners. An affiliate of the group acquired the adjacent 10.5-acre office property for $25 million in 2024.

This project is one of several developments advancing within or near Park at Broken Sound. Among them is the redevelopment of Office Depot’s headquarters by BH Group, PEBB Enterprises and the Real Group. That plan features an updated office complex spanning 405,000 square feet, a new Equinox gym covering 37,000 square feet and a residential building with 500 apartments.

Other projects in the area include a mixed-income complex with 289 apartments approved for construction at 900 Northwest Broken Sound Parkway in July and Oak Lane Partners’ proposal from March for a Live Local Act project with 243 units next to its headquarters at 791 Park of Commerce Boulevard.

In September, Tishman Speyer purchased the Bell at Broken Sound Apartments—a property comprising 270 units—for $125 million.

Plans by Beztak and Wexford Real Estate to add another 21 apartments and fitness center to their previously approved Bocora apartment project were withdrawn; however, their request to designate an existing Xceed Preparatory Academy tutoring center as a private school was unanimously approved by city council this week.
