The U.S. Census Bureau has updated its OnTheMap application and the Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD) Origin-Destination Employment Statistics (LODES) to now include employment data from 2023. The update also adds backfilled employment data for Mississippi covering the years 2019 through 2022, and incorporates updated geography based on the 2024 TIGER/Line vintage.

OnTheMap is an online tool that allows users to view where people live and work, created in collaboration between the Census Bureau and its Local Employment Dynamics partner states.

There was no formal news release issued with this product update; only a tip sheet was provided.
