Dennis Orkoulas-Razis, M.D., MHS, has joined Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute as a board-certified hematologist oncologist. His focus areas include medical oncology with particular attention to gastrointestinal cancers, early onset cancers, and cancer prevention.

Dr. Orkoulas-Razis is engaged in research aimed at improving cancer care. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national symposiums. He reviews National Cancer Control Plans for the Union for International Cancer Control and the World Health Organization. He is also a member of both the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
He earned a master’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology with honors from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore and obtained his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at University of Maryland Medical Center and a hematology oncology residency at Montefiore Einstein Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Orkoulas-Razis holds board certifications in internal medicine and hematology from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Fluent in English and Greek, he also speaks conversational Spanish and French. He will see patients at two Miami Cancer Institute locations: 8900 North Kendall Drive in Miami and 125 NW 84 Avenue in Doral.
