Film Florida has scheduled its next quarterly meeting for December 11 and 12, 2025, in Orlando. The gathering will include committee and council meetings as well as a Board of Directors session. Those unable to attend in person can participate via Zoom.

Meetings are set to take place at Eola View, located at 150 E. Central Blvd in Orlando. A hotel block is available at Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Downtown, which is within walking distance of the meeting venue. Hotel rooms are offered at a group rate of $199 per night plus taxes, with parking available for $24 per day per car. Amenities include a pool, fitness center, complimentary evening reception, and daily cooked-to-order breakfast for guests. The group rate is available until November 19 or until the room block sells out.

The tentative schedule begins on Thursday, December 11 with Film Florida Committee & Council Meetings from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., open only to members. Members interested in joining remotely are instructed to email info@filmflorida.org for call-in details.

An evening event titled “Women in Film & Television Florida Jingle Mingle” will be held at Eola View from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

On Friday, December 12, activities begin with a continental breakfast for members at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Board of Directors Meeting from 9:30 a.m. to noon; this session is open to the public and virtual participation is also available upon request via email.

Attendees present in person are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy or gift for donation to a Central Florida organization during the holidays. Additionally, there will be a raffle where tickets cost $5 each or five for $20; payment can be made by cash, credit card or digitally and both in-person and virtual participants may enter. Half of the proceeds go to the winner while the other half supports Film Florida’s grant and scholarship fund.

Those interested in joining member-only meetings but who are not yet members are invited to join Film Florida through their website.

“We hope you will participate, either in person or virtually, we plan on having a very productive few days. Thank you for your continued support and engagement!”
