MemberAssist, a new service aimed at reducing daily stress for educators and support staff, has been introduced. The program is designed to help members of the Florida Education Association (FEA) with tasks such as understanding benefits, comparing insurance options, booking appointments, planning vacations, and finding local services.

According to the announcement, FEA members can access MemberAssist free of charge. For non-members, the service costs $948 per year.

The service connects users with real people who handle their requests directly. The organization emphasizes that there are no automated phone systems or unnecessary steps involved.

“Whether it’s understanding your benefits, comparing insurance options, booking an appointment, planning a vacation, or finding a trusted local service in a pinch—you can hand it off with a single request. A real person will handle it for you. No phone trees. No runaround. Just the support you need, when you need it,” according to the statement.

The goal of MemberAssist is to provide practical support so that education professionals can focus on their work and personal lives without added stress.

“MemberAssist is the extra set of hands you need.Because supporting you every day is how we strengthen your union, together,” states the release.

These services are available exclusively to FEA members as part of their membership benefits.
