Approximately 5,000 students graduated from Florida International University (FIU) in the final ceremonies of 2025, joining another 10,000 who completed their degrees earlier in the year. These new graduates are expected to contribute to various fields including science, technology, and the arts.

The university held eight commencement ceremonies during the week. Families and friends gathered to support the graduates as they walked across the stage. The event was documented through photos and videos by Margarita Rentis, Genesis Ibarra, and Marc Funes.

During the celebrations, President Jeanette M. Nuñez addressed the graduates with a message: “Focus on your purpose, in both your personal and professional life, and make decisions that will keep you on the path to success. Never let fear, failure or doubt take you off course.” The ceremony also included lines from FIU’s Alma Mater: “We fly our banners high, ev’ry culture we embrace. All our love and Panther spirit, young and old we make this place.”

The ceremonies marked a significant milestone for FIU’s Class of 2025 as they prepare to begin their careers.
