The Florida Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced a virtual customer meeting for residents served by Gulfstream Utility, LLC. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Gulfstream Utility provides wastewater services to 965 residential customers in Orange County. Water service for these customers is supplied through a bulk service agreement with Orange County. In June 2025, Gulfstream filed an application with the FPSC seeking approval for a rate increase.
According to the FPSC, the upcoming meeting will allow customers to share their comments regarding Gulfstream’s quality of service and the process used to set rates. The commission stated that all input from customers will be considered during its evaluation of the utility’s request for a rate increase.
“All customer input will be considered by the Commission when it evaluates the utility’s rate increase request,” according to information provided by the FPSC.
Customers who want to speak at the meeting are required to register in advance. Registration can be completed using an online speaker sign-up form available under the “Hot Topics” section on the FPSC homepage. For those without internet access, registration is possible by calling (850) 413-7080 or by email.
Speaker registration opens at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, and closes at noon on Friday, January 9.
A live webcast of the meeting will also be available so that interested parties can follow proceedings remotely.
