The Florida Public Service Commission (FPSC) has scheduled a virtual customer meeting for residents served by Grenelefe Resort Utility, Inc. The session is set for Monday, September 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. EDT.

Grenelefe Resort Utility filed an application in January 2025 seeking to increase its water and wastewater rates in Polk County. The upcoming meeting will allow customers to share their views on the proposed rate changes and discuss the quality of service provided by Grenelefe. According to the FPSC, input from customers will be considered as part of the decision-making process.

“Customer input will be considered when the Commission makes its decision,” the FPSC stated.

Customers interested in speaking during the virtual meeting can register through several methods: completing an online registration form found under Hot Topics on the FPSC home page via the Sign-up to Speak link, calling the FPSC at 1-850-413-7080, or sending an email to the commission. Online speaker registration opens Wednesday, September 1 at 9:00 a.m. EDT and closes Thursday, September 11 at noon.

Grenelefe currently serves water to approximately 1,608 residential customers and provides wastewater services to about 1,357 residential customers in Polk County.

For those unable to participate directly in the meeting, a live stream will be available through “Watch Live and Archived PSC Events” on the commission’s website.
