The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF) is preparing to celebrate its 25th anniversary in Miami. Tickets for the event, which will take place from February 19 to 22, 2026, are now available for purchase.

Originally started at Florida International University’s (FIU) Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management by the late professor Patrick “Chip” Cassidy, the festival has grown into a significant culinary gathering. According to organizers, “the annual Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF) is now the premier wine and food festival run by and benefitting thousands of FIU students.” The event brings together chefs from around the world, Food Network personalities, and top wine and spirits producers for a range of activities including tastings, dinners, parties, brunches, lunches, master classes, and seminars.

More than 1,500 FIU students participate each year in various roles such as marketing, logistics, event planning, and culinary operations management. “More than 1,500 students work with event producers and Food Network stars during the four-day event,” organizers said.

All proceeds from SOBEWFF support FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. To date, more than $45 million has been raised for student programs under the mission to EAT. DRINK. EDUCATE.

Students involved in SOBEWFF gain hands-on learning experiences across different areas related to hospitality and event management.
