The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau announced on April 20 the launch of the sixth season of its Art of Black Miami podcast. The new season features artists, curators, and cultural leaders who contribute to the creative heritage of Greater Miami and Miami Beach.

The Art of Black Miami initiative aims to amplify diverse voices and highlight the impact that art has on local communities. The latest series continues this effort by exploring topics such as heritage, community preservation, and how art can inspire change.

Rosie Gordon-Wallace, curator, arts advocate, and president of Diaspora Vibe Culture Arts Incubator, hosts this season’s episodes. The conversations focus on poetry, visual arts, cultural curation, and storytelling to provide listeners with insights into each artist’s inspiration and influence.

“For more than a decade, Art of Black Miami has served as a platform to celebrate and elevate the voices shaping our community,” said Connie Kinnard, Senior Vice President of Multicultural Tourism & Development at the bureau. “This season continues that legacy by showcasing artists whose work drives meaningful conversations.”

Episodes will be released monthly across major podcast platforms. More information about featured artists is available at ArtofBlackMiami.com.

The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau describes itself as an accredited not-for-profit organization focused on attracting visitors for leisure travel as well as business events.
