From October 1 to December 7, Greater Miami and Miami Beach will host “Fall for the Arts,” a cultural initiative organized by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB). The program is designed as a three-month celebration of artistic expression across various disciplines, including performance, visual, experiential, and community arts.
David Whitaker, President & CEO of the GMCVB, stated: “Every fall, the world’s attention turns to Greater Miami and Miami Beach for artistic inspiration. Our stages, museums, neighborhoods and even our shorelines become platforms for some of the boldest artistic expressions anywhere. Fall for the Arts celebrates this moment in time, inviting the world to discover why our region continues to evolve as a global cultural capital.”
Since Art Basel Miami Beach began in 2002, the area has developed into an important center for contemporary art and performance. The destination now includes 23 museums and numerous galleries. The “Fall for the Arts” season leads up to Miami Art Week (December 1–7), which draws international attention.
The event series aims not only to highlight major institutions and global collaborations but also emphasize local artists and voices that contribute to Miami’s cultural identity. Venues range from symphony halls and theaters to outdoor promenades and underwater sculpture parks.
Featured events include activations such as the Miami Beach Culture Crawl, Adrienne Arsht Center’s 20th season, Actors’ Playhouse’s 30th anniversary season, along with programming from partners like The Betsy Hotel and Faena Hotel Miami Beach.
