The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) Retirees & Membership Services Department held a week-long training session at the William Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Maryland. The purpose of the class was to assist members in establishing retiree clubs at both district and local levels.

This initiative is designed to enhance retiree activism, provide additional resources for retired members, and promote mentorship opportunities for younger union members. Those interested in starting an IAM retiree club can find more information by visiting the organization’s membership services page at https://www.goiam.org/departments/general-secretary-treasurer/membership-services/.
