IAM District 142 recently held its second annual charity golf tournament at Papago Golf Course in Phoenix. The event was organized to raise funds for Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines, the IAM’s chosen charity.

The tournament is a competitive fundraiser among various IAM districts. Money raised from the event, including proceeds from games and donated prizes, will go toward training and placing service dogs with people who are visually impaired, veterans living with PTSD, and children with autism. All services provided by Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines are free for recipients.

Staff members from Guide Dogs of America attended the event with puppies in training. They shared their excitement about the impact of the fundraiser and its role in supporting the organization’s mission.
