The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) joined forces with the Alliance for Retired Americans at the organization’s annual pension symposium. The event, led by retired IAM General Secretary-Treasurer Robert Roach, Jr., highlighted concerns over what participants described as a political attack on Social Security and retirement plans that support older Americans, including many members of the IAM.

The symposium brought together labor organizations and advocates to address these challenges and discuss strategies to defend earned benefits. Those interested in supporting efforts to protect retirement plans were encouraged to visit RetiredAmericans.org.
