IAM union members attend conference to improve workplace safety skills

More than 30 members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) participated in a Safety & Health Conference held at the Winpisinger Center. The event focused on improving skills related to workplace emergency response and employee health maintenance.

According to the IAM, the conference provided attendees with training on how to better respond to emergencies that may arise in their workplaces, as well as strategies for promoting ongoing employee health.

The event is part of the union’s ongoing efforts to enhance workplace safety standards and ensure that its members are prepared for potential hazards on the job.
