Board-certified family medicine physician Kurt C. Eppley, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Primary Care in Marathon, Florida. Dr. Eppley brings over 20 years of experience treating patients in both urgent and primary care settings, with clinical interests that include preventive care, skin diseases, and end-of-life care.

Before joining Baptist Health, Dr. Eppley practiced at White-Wilson Medical Center in Ft. Walton, Florida. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed a family medicine residency at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia.

Jack Ziffer, Ph.D., M.D., executive vice president, chief clinical officer and chief physician executive at Baptist Health said: “We are happy to welcome Dr. Eppley to our team of caring medical professionals, who are committed to partnering with our patients to provide consistent, comprehensive care for all stages of life.”

Dr. Eppley emphasizes a proactive approach to healthcare that focuses on prevention and early detection of health issues. “I believe preventive care is the key to long-term wellness,” he said.

He is fluent in English and French and will be seeing patients at the Baptist Health Primary Care location in Marathon.
