Marcus & Millichap appoints Max Beyderman to lead Fort Lauderdale commercial finance

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation has appointed Max Beyderman as senior managing director in its Fort Lauderdale office. According to the company, Beyderman will handle commercial debt and equity financing across various asset classes. His professional background includes a recent period of self-employment as a commercial finance specialist and an 18-year tenure as managing director at Meridian Capital Group.

Origin Construction, based in Miami, has named Thomas Burkett as chief financial officer. Burkett previously served briefly as CFO at Butters Group and held the role of senior vice president of finance at Hernandez Construction & Development for nearly four years.

Brown Harris Stevens announced new hires for its Miami-Dade County offices. The Miami Beach office will add Anamaria Ferrao, Maayan Alishayev, and Maria Pellegrini. Mariona Bosca, Natalie Scherr, and Noelia Espinales are joining the South Miami office. In May, David Deza became managing director of Brown Harris Stevens’ Miami office and has led recruitment efforts since then.
