He is experienced in using ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin injections for these disorders and deep brain stimulation programming for Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Beltre to our highly skilled team of medical specialists, dedicated to providing the highest quality care,” said Diego Torres-Russotto, M.D., chair of neurology at Miami Neuroscience Institute.
Dr. Beltre completed his medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and remained there for his internal medicine internship. He has developed educational programs for neurology trainees and presented research at national and international conferences including the International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders and meetings by the American Academy of Neurology.
Dr. Beltre said about his approach: “I strive to create a collaborative relationship where medical decisions are guided by both clinical expertise and my patient’s individual values and goals,” adding that he aims to listen carefully so patients feel supported in their healthcare journey.
