St. Andrews State Park in Panama City and Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park in Wakulla Springs have announced their holiday event schedules. Both parks are managed by Adventures Unbound by Guest Services, a hospitality company that operates outdoor activity destinations.
At St. Andrews State Park, the annual Golf Cart Parade is scheduled for December 13. Visitors can either decorate their own golf carts or use those available at the park. The parade will start at noon, with participants meeting at the camp at 11 a.m. Additionally, from December 20 to 28, the park will offer a Christmas Shell Island Sunset Cruise featuring Christmas carols, hot cocoa, and cookies.
St. Andrews State Park has received recognition as number seven on Dr. Beach’s Top 10 Beaches for 2025. The park is known for its sunset cruises, Shell Island Ferry service, paddle board rentals, and pontoon rentals. Between November 27 and December 3, guests can receive a 25 percent discount on glamping tent rentals; this promotion also includes a one-day golf cart or bike rental for two people who book using the discount code. The Lodge at Wakulla Springs will host several seasonal activities starting with a Thanksgiving Buffet on November 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., priced at $55.99 plus tax and gratuity for adults and $21.99 plus tax and gratuity for children aged twelve and under. On November 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., local artisans will participate in the Wakulla Springs Makers Market at The Lodge’s Terrace and Back Lawn areas.
December events include Brunch With Santa on December 7 and December 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., which features food, holiday activities, visits from Santa Claus, and goodie bags for children ($40 for adults age thirteen and over; $26 for children ages four to twelve; $11 for children ages two to three). A Christmas Buffet will be held on December 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., costing $54.95 plus tax and gratuity for adults and $19.99 plus tax and gratuity for kids thirteen years old or younger.
On New Year’s Eve, The Lodge dining room will serve dinner until ten o’clock in the evening; further details about this event are expected soon.
Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park is recognized as one of the largest freshwater springs globally with cypress swamps surrounding it—activities include boat tours, birding, hiking, biking, horseback riding, as well as hosting weddings at The Lodge built in Spanish style during the nineteen thirties that highlights local wildlife themes typical of Old Florida culture.
