Palm Beach County condo sales rise as Presidential Place leads with top closing

Palm Beach County saw an increase in both the number of condo sales and total dollar volume for the week ending August 24. According to data from Redfin, brokers closed 74 condo sales totaling $42.8 million between August 18 and August 24, compared to 64 sales totaling $31.4 million the previous week.

The average sale price for condos last week was $578,767, which is higher than the prior week’s average of $491,305. However, the average price per square foot dropped to $316 from $328.

Among the top ten transactions during this period, sale prices ranged from $1 million to nearly $7.7 million.

The highest-priced transaction was for unit 205 at Presidential Place, located at 800 South Ocean Boulevard in Boca Raton. The unit sold for $7.7 million, or $1,617 per square foot, after spending 240 days on the market. Senada Adzem with Douglas Elliman listed the property and Todd Lipsich with Luxury Partners Realty represented the buyer.

Another notable transaction was unit E1 at 330 Ocean in Palm Beach, which sold for $3.5 million—or $1,762 per square foot—after being on the market for 266 days. Patricia Mahaney with Sotheby’s International Realty handled the listing while Maria Fanjul-Ryan with Tina Fanjul Associates represented the buyer.

Other significant deals included a unit at 111 First Delray Condo in Delray Beach that sold for just over $1 million and a Jupiter Country Club condo that closed at $1.15 million.
