Ryder System, Inc. has acquired Truck Service Depot, a mobile maintenance company based in Atlanta that services commercial trucks and trailers throughout Georgia. The deal expands Ryder’s retail mobile maintenance business, Torque by Ryder, across the state.

Truck Service Depot brings more than 20 technicians and operates two locations: a ten-bay drive-through facility in Atlanta and a service center in Savannah. Ryder plans to integrate the employees, assets, and operations of Truck Service Depot into its Torque by Ryder network during 2026. Scott Marshall, who founded Truck Service Depot in 2018, will work with Ryder to help manage the transition.

“With Truck Service Depot’s strong presence in Georgia and complementary mobile maintenance services in a growth market for Ryder, we are enhancing our ability to further offer flexible, rapid maintenance solutions to fleets across this growing freight corridor,” said Tom Havens, president of Fleet Management Solutions at Ryder.

The transaction was completed on January 5, 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.

“I chose Ryder to continue the legacy of best-in-class mobile maintenance services because of their commitment to innovation, customer service, and employee growth,” said Scott Marshall, CEO of Truck Service Depot. “I am confident that Ryder is the ideal home for our employees and customers moving forward.”

Fulton County has been identified as an important logistics area due to increasing demand for transportation and fleet services. The region’s infrastructure—including major airports, interstates, and rail access—supports connectivity for commercial fleets throughout the Southeast. By acquiring Truck Service Depot’s market presence in this high-traffic corridor, Ryder aims to strengthen support for customers operating through the area as part of its Southeast expansion strategy.

This acquisition follows other recent investments by Ryder in new truck rental and maintenance facilities located in McDonough, Georgia and Lebanon, Tennessee. These efforts are intended to improve service along busy logistics corridors with technology-enabled fleet solutions.

With this latest move, Torque by Ryder now offers retail mobile maintenance services across 27 states supporting various types of vehicles such as trucks, trailers, delivery vans, refrigerated vehicles, construction equipment, buses, forklifts and emergency response vehicles.

Ryder System provides integrated logistics solutions including supply chain management and fleet services across North America.
