Ryder System, Inc. has opened a new 20,000 square foot truck rental and maintenance facility in McDonough, Georgia, as part of its ongoing expansion in the Southeast. The facility is located at 105 Constitution Drive and is intended to improve access to fleet and maintenance services for businesses in South Atlanta’s logistics corridor.

The new site is strategically positioned near Interstate 75 and several major distribution hubs. This location supports Ryder’s port-to-door logistics service model by offering rental, maintenance, and fleet solutions. The opening follows a recent expansion in the Nashville area and aligns with Ryder’s broader strategy to address increasing demand in high-growth regions. The facility includes five full drive-through maintenance bays and features RyderGyde integration for real-time fleet visibility and shop status updates.

“This expansion reflects Ryder’s investment in high-growth regions where evolving logistics needs demand flexible and tech-enabled solutions,” said Tom Havens, president of Fleet Management Solutions at Ryder. “McDonough’s proximity to Atlanta, strong infrastructure, and thriving industrial base make it an ideal location for extending our service footprint.”

McDonough is located in Henry County, which has become one of Georgia’s prominent logistics and manufacturing centers. Its position along I-75 connects businesses with the Atlanta metropolitan area and beyond. Recent infrastructure developments allow containers to be offloaded directly onto trucks, helping streamline freight movement and reduce highway congestion.

Georgia’s logistics sector employs over 250,000 people and generates more than $83 billion annually, according to the Georgia Center of Innovation (https://www.georgia.org/industries/logistics). McDonough’s industrial parks continue to attract investment from companies seeking transportation services.

The new Ryder facility will create job opportunities for skilled technicians and customer service professionals in the region. Those interested can find current openings at ryder.com/careers.

The company provides supply chain management, dedicated transportation, warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment, last-mile delivery, managed transportation services, full-service fleet leasing, commercial truck rental, used vehicle sales, among other offerings.
