Ryder System, Inc. announced on Apr. 21 that it will participate in the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo from May 4 to May 7 in Las Vegas, highlighting its expertise in next-generation logistics and vehicle technologies. The company will feature executive speaking sessions and an interactive booth focusing on emission reduction solutions for light-duty vehicles and yard tractors.

The event is significant as commercial fleets face challenges related to automation and last-mile delivery while transitioning to cleaner transportation options. Ryder executives are scheduled for three ACT Expo sessions addressing automation, electric vehicle adoption, and operational realities of clean delivery.

Seth DeVlugt, senior director of new product strategy and RyderVentures, will moderate a session on real-world automation applications for yard and road use cases. Arun Chickmenahalli, director of maintenance, research, and development of advanced vehicle technology, will discuss factors driving electric vehicle adoption across delivery fleets. Angie Hargesheimer, group director of accounts for advanced vehicle technology, will join a panel examining the final stretch of clean delivery in urban settings.

Jason Leon, chief technology product officer for Ryder’s Fleet Maintenance Solutions business said: “We’re excited to be back at ACT Expo and to demonstrate how RyderElectric+ fits into our broader technology strategy to support customers as they explore and adopt next‑generation solutions when and where it makes sense for their operations… Our focus is on integrating advanced vehicle technologies, data, and operational expertise into turnkey solutions that are practical, scalable, and designed for real‑world deployment—so customers can reduce complexity, manage risk, and move forward with solutions that support measurable outcomes in a changing landscape.”

At booth #1853 during the expo, Ryder plans to display its end-to-end EV solution RyderElectric+, including an Orange EV eTRIEVER electric yard tractor. Company experts will provide information about light-duty EVs as well as fleet integration strategies.

Launched in 2023 by RyderElectric+, this offering aims to simplify fleet electrification through integrated support across areas such as charging infrastructure assistance and telematics services.

Ryder System operates throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico with approximately $13 billion in annual revenue. The company manages around 240,000 commercial vehicles across nearly 800 maintenance locations according to its latest corporate overview.
