A Fortune 500 cloud computing company, ServiceNow, is set to open an office at a new tower in downtown West Palm Beach. The move supports Steve Ross’ ongoing effort to establish the city as a technology center.

ServiceNow, which helps businesses automate and organize tasks using artificial intelligence, will operate an innovation hub at 10 CityPlace. This office building is being developed by Related Ross, the firm created when Steve Ross separated his Southeast U.S. operations from New York-based Related Companies last year.

The expansion comes with financial incentives: ServiceNow has secured approval for over $17 million in state and local grants. These include $13 million from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, $2 million in additional state grants, and $2 million from the city of West Palm Beach. The city’s grant requires that ServiceNow hire 856 employees within six years; if it fails to create at least 400 jobs, funds can be reclaimed.

Although there has been no official announcement regarding ServiceNow’s move into West Palm Beach by Related Ross or city officials, the company previously told Bloomberg that it is “considering West Palm to support our global growth and future workforce expansion.” Job postings for positions based in the city have also appeared online.

Related Ross now owns eight office buildings—some purchased, others under construction or planned—in downtown West Palm Beach. Most have attracted tenants from New York’s financial services sector through Ross’ business network. Executives say they are working toward making downtown West Palm into a hub for technology firms.

Construction began in March on both 10 CityPlace (25 stories) and 15 CityPlace (26 stories), located within the mixed-use CityPlace complex downtown. Both towers are scheduled for completion in 2027.

In another lease transaction in Palm Beach County, C.R. Chicks—a rotisserie chicken restaurant founded locally in 1992—has signed for space at The Fountains of Boynton Shopping Plaza on Boynton Beach Boulevard. After this latest lease, C.R. Chicks operates eight locations within the county and plans further expansion into Stuart with a site at Wedgewood Commons plaza.
