Universal Orlando Resort has announced the return of its annual holiday celebration, which will run from November 21, 2025, through January 4, 2026. The event will include a variety of themed festivities across the resort’s parks and hotels.

Guests visiting during this period can expect seasonal decorations throughout Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and—for the first time—select areas at Universal Epic Universe. The celebrations feature Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Grinchmas in Seuss Landing, and Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s.

Holiday-themed experiences in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will take place in Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure, Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida, and the new Ministry of Magic area at Epic Universe. Activities include performances by The Frog Choir and Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees as well as “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle,” a nighttime projection show.

Seuss Landing will host “The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular,” a live retelling of Dr. Seuss’s classic story. Guests can meet The Grinch for photo opportunities and explore new features like the Who-ville Tree Lot with trees inspired by Dr. Seuss characters.

Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s returns to Universal Studios Florida with large balloons, floats, appearances by Minions from Despicable Me, characters from Shrek and Madagascar, and a tree-lighting ceremony led by Santa Claus.

Celestial Park at Universal Epic Universe will also display seasonal lighting and decorations alongside its attractions.

Two add-on experiences are available for guests seeking enhanced visits: The Universal Holiday Tour offers guided access to holiday events across both main theme parks—including reserved seating for shows and parades—and starts at $79.99 per person plus tax (separate admission required). Annual and Seasonal Passholders receive a $10 discount per ticket when purchased through official channels; blockout dates apply for some pass types.

The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast takes place on select mornings at Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous in Islands of Adventure. This breakfast includes themed menu items such as Green Eggs & Ham Quiche and Betty Lou Who Fluffy Ricotta Pancakes. Pricing is $58.99 plus tax per adult and $32.99 plus tax per child (ages 3-9).

At Universal CityWalk, Red Coconut Club transforms into the Green and Red Coconut Club with holiday entertainment under this year’s “Mistletoe Pines Ski Lodge” theme. Restaurants throughout CityWalk offer seasonal food options including special milkshakes from The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen.

All eleven Universal Orlando Resort hotels participate in holiday festivities with special menus for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve buffets, tree lightings, menorah ceremonies for Hanukkah, carolers, and more.

New Year’s Eve celebrations are planned across all four theme parks as well as CityWalk and each hotel location; further details are expected later.

Access to most in-park holiday experiences is included with regular admission tickets. Florida residents may save up to 40% off flexible rates at participating resort hotels during their stay while also receiving benefits such as early park entry (with valid ticket) and resort-wide charging privileges.
