Visit St. Pete-Clearwater is launching a new incentive to encourage travelers to use their remaining paid time off (PTO) before the end of the year. The organization is offering up to $250 in gift cards for visitors who book trips through its official website and stay through the end of 2025.

According to a study by the Society for Human Resource Management, nearly half of U.S. employees are expected to leave vacation days unused this year. Visit St. Pete-Clearwater aims to address this trend by rewarding travelers with $50 in gift cards for each vacation day used, up to five nights.

“Don’t let your PTO go to waste when there’s still time to take a beach break,” said Steve Grimes, Chief Marketing Officer at Visit St. Pete-Clearwater. “Fall and early winter is the sweet spot here – perfect weather, lots of events, and now, we’re giving you a little extra spending money for that sunset meal or night out on the town.”

The region offers warm temperatures and white-sand beaches during a period when much of the country experiences colder weather. Travelers can also access additional discounts at more than 50 local attractions, restaurants, and shops using the FunShine Savings Passport digital pass.

For more information or to book a trip, visitors can go to VisitSPC.com/PTO.
